"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!!!! The hotel exists but states they do not have a contract with Expedia. We showed up to our pre-paid booking confirmed by Expedia and the hotel told us that our booking didn’t exist due to not having an agreement with Expedia. The hotel was fully booked which left us out a lot of money, which the hotel also mentioned was not consistent with their rate which was multiple times lower than the noted rate through Expedia. Expedia did not refund us because...

The concierge informed them there was no record of the reservation and that the KESMO LODGE DOES NOT WORK WITH HOTELS.COM. "Maun lodge is a great place to start or finish any Botswana safari. The location is quiet and green with free airport pick-up/drop off. Also excellent dining on site!"

"They canceled our reservation literally at the last minute without any notification whatsoever; leaving us stranded at the Maun Airport. Then the manager refused to give us a refund. Both Expedia and I tried to rectify the situation for over an hour while still at the airport all to no avail. This feels like quite a scam! They took a reservation and almost $300 USD. "Good value good WiFi. Should turn on air con one hour before guest arrival though if this is known ahead of time. Super helpful staff. Pictures of pool should be downplayed in advert because it is small IRL. "
