"Casita de Chiles was a perfect home base for our visit to Big Bend. The place was exactly as described and was welcoming, cozy, and comfortable. The views were incredible both day and night. The sunrise over the mountains was a perfect way to start our day. The stargazing in the evening was amazing. We were able to see the Milky Way from right outside the door. The welcome book provided was full of great information about the surrounding area, and the directions provided in advance made finding the barndominium easy, even in the dark. Would definitely stay here again."
"Room was perfect. Very clean and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable. And it was nice to have a small couch. If you're considering going just realize that there is no cell phone service and no TV. At night we were able to connect our iPad to their WiFi and watch movies."
"Michelle was very communicative and followed up how my sister and I were doing on our trip. She was patient with me when I misread my booking. I thought it was a casita but apparently, it was an RV. "
"House was clean and temperature inside was comfortable as soon as soon as we arrived. Sunsets and stars were amazing. Responsive host. Would love to go back again. "

MJ's Cabin. Private cabin just 3.5 miles from BBNP
10/10 Excellent
"The location is awesome! Close to west side of Big Bend NP and Terlingua. Cabin had everything we needed for cooking including a two burner portable stove, outdoor grill, and counter oven for baking and air frying, and the Cottonwood Genl Store was 2 mins away for food necessities. We had one issue with our hot water not heating on the first day and Daryl (owner) was responsive to our evening call and had it fixed in no time! Cabin was clean, sheets/towels/shampoo were supplied for our use. Would recommend and stay here again."
