Plenty to do and great for walking as it has 440 acres of varied grounds from formal gardens, woodlands with streams, croquet lawns. Amazing views from the guest lounge areas and a modern spa. "

"The house is located perfectly in the village and for access to the surrounding area ( Daylesford). Excellent pubs in the village ( the plough and the wild Rabbit). Book ahead though as they are very popular. House was clean. The heating took a while to figure out, however, Olivia was on hand to answer any questions and sort out any issues. Despite the house sleeping 8 people, the sitting room only had one sofa and a couple of chairs. Perhaps could do with another sofa to make it more comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden which was great for our dog. "

"For a chain hotel in a rural town, this hotel provides what you expect. The room was comfortable and the hotel was in reasonable condition. Staff were friendly and the check in process is very easy. The location of the hotel was just a 10 min walk to the centre of town and local bus connections. Wifi was free, but was a bit patchy at times."

"We stayed at Pickwick Cottage in Churchill over Christmas and absolutely loved it. It’s a really cosy, well-equipped home, beautifully decorated for the holidays. We felt so welcome and happy throughout our stay. The location is perfect — close to fields and parks for dog walks, and with a lovely local pub just around the corner. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and festive getaway."
