"Fantastic cosy room. Lovely shower , comfy bed. The check in is via phone and a key safe .
The room was well stocked and very clean. Main problem is the doors to rooms don’t have quiet closing so when the ignorant other guests go in and out there is constant slamming of doors.
We stayed in the room with exposed beams and it was very well thought out . Good for walking holiday due to location."

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I could have used some instructions on working the shower. I ended up with a sponge bath. The hotel did its best with two fans to cool down the room during the heat wave, but we slept on top of the covers with the windows open. The location was excellent."
"The woodland village lodge was perfect for our grandson he loved the TV in his room with Lego programmes the Lego he could play with a d the puzzle that allowed him to open the safe and find some goodies. Park was great too. Breakfast wasn't great, lots of cereals etc but cooked breakfast was not warm enough. Need more options too for example I would just have liked some toast and bacon or egg or something like that. Reception staff seemed to struggle a wee bit at times to help us when the room key wouldn't work or requesting a code for parking. Would recommend as our grandson loved it."
"Great hotel especially for the price, having a pool to use was great! Plenty of parking available too.
Good to note, there is no air con in standard rooms, I knew this when booking and it wasn’t an issue at all. it was the middle of a heatwave and the room was a bit warm but it’s unusual weather for the UK so I suspect during normal weather it would be absolutely fine."
"I stayed while the hotel was undergoing renovation (the restaurant). It was nevertheless quiet, I had an excellent salad and delicious breads with room service, the staff was very warm and friendly and went out of their ways to help. They even allowed me to check in hours early! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning very strong (could be adjusted in the room exactly to my liking) while it was very hot outside in July. Excellent! Highly recommend the lovely Castle Hotel and will stay again. Thank you!"
"Staff excellent and so helpful. They provided a stress free experience as i was travelling alone with my grandson. Excellent value for money and in a perfect spot for visiting Windsor Castle. Fabulous air conditioning which was needed. Excellent high pressure shower with a larger than averagr cubicle. Refreshing to have so many places to sit and relax thanks to sofas and chairs. Excellent choice for breakfast and food was fresh with a large variety of choice. Overall i would say i would definitely return. Thankyou to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable."
