The hotel is situated in the centre of old city between China Town and Little India within the walking distance to all major sights. Unlimited shopping and dining options nearby. Public busses around the corner. The staff could me more helpful, cleanelles of the room was OK. Cleaned every day with complimentary drinking water. Markets next door.

The room and buildings were beautiful. The service varied. Sometimes very good, sometimes stand offish but professional. The service at the poolside was a bit rude. Our request for napkins when we received some food was met with eye rolling for example. The food was 3/5. One exception was the afternoon tea which was wonderful.

It’s one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. It reminds us the colonial era yet the facilities are modern. The staff are friendly and always available to help. There are lots of food choices within a 5-10 walk from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again.
