Located in the heart of Chico, one block from beautiful Bidwell Park and a short walk to downtown, this charming, newly-renovated bungalow offers everything you need for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway. Whether you're sipping coffee on the front porch or trying your hand at bocce ball in the backyard under the twinkle lights, this sweet, completely redone 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home provides a clean and comfortable place for you to enjoy all that Chico has to offer. Be sure to check out the legendary jukebox from Duffy's Bar in downtown Chico, given to us as a wedding present! Grab the beach chairs and head to One-Mile, the local swimming park just a couple of blocks away. Or hop on a beach cruiser bike and take a ride through tree-lined streets, just a few blocks to the heart of downtown Chico. Plenty of street parking directly in front of the house. Graduation Stay

We enjoyed our four-day visit here with my parents to see my daughter graduate from Chico State. We had fun with the bocce ball, and it was a perfect location for walking downtown and to graduation. Cute house!

Summer Chico vibes

We love this little bungalow for it's location and Chico charm! The street parking on Pine St. can be a little tight so just be careful when exiting your car. This is our 4th summer staying here and we'll be back next year.

We came up to Chico to visit out daughter at Chico State and this house was just perfect for our family. Great location, clean, comfortable and a great back yard for BBQ and Bocce hang out. Close to everything, we could walk to get coffee and have breakfast. We will stay here again.

Great spot !

We loved the location we could ride to Bidwell Park and swim at 1 mile- loved having bikes for adults to use. Close to downtown for live music and restaurants. The home was clean and the backyard was perfect for kids and dogs to play.

Darling House

This was our second time staying at the Bidwell Park Bungalow, and loved it just as much as the first time. The house is so cleaned, stocked, and back yard with bocce is so fun. We will stay again!

Perfect Bungalow

We loved our stay at the Bidwell Bungalow. Super cozy and the perfect location for exploring Chico within walking distance of downtown and Bidwell park. The property was super clean and had everything we needed for a super pleasure stay. No hassle check in. We loved the bocce setup and patio area. We definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Chico.

Great Chico House

Quick trip for an alumni event

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend trip. The location is great, right by Bidwell Park! The house had everything we needed. The yard was really awesome, unfortunately it rained for much of our time there, but we hope to come back back when it's warm and would definitely stay here again.

Cozy Bidwell Bungalow

My teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bidwell Bungalow! The house is walking distance to downtown and the park which makes it really fun and easy to get around town. The best part (for me) was playing the old Duffy's jukebox when I was hanging out in the house! I would definitely book this house again!

Blissful Bungalow

This home was a perfect fit for our family. We spend most of our time visiting with our Chico/Paradise family and friends. But when we came back to the Bungalow it was bright, clean and an easy place to relax and rest.

All about the location

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at the cottage. The location is fantastic and very close to Bidwell park, downtown and the state college. My only disappointment was that the backyard was overgrown with weeds and not well cared for.

annual summer Chico visit

The street parking is a little less that desired but not a big deal for us and the back bedroom gets pretty warm during the summer months but the fans help a lot. We enjoy the outside seating a ton on the cooler mornings and the jukebox is so FUN! Location is perfect for walks in Bidwell or to downtown.

Great stay at the bungalow

This is a beautifully remodeled older home. We appreciated the opportunity to bring our small dogs, and had some great walks in Bidwell Park just a couple blocks away. As mentioned in other reviews, we also had some difficulties with the heaters, but it did not impact our stay and we will be looking to rent this property again next year. Well stocked with essentials, great patio area, and VERY clean. Thank you to the hosts for an exceptional stay!

Cheerful house. Close to center on quiet street

The owners have equipped it for enjoyment. Board games, Jenga, puzzles, a dining table and a working Juke Box indoors, as well as a bocce court in the yard. We've stayed there twice. It was better in the warmer weather, because the heating is a bit uneven. Very walkable to Bidwell Park and Caper Acres as well as downtown.

Almost Perfect Bungalow

Only parking was on busy Street. While not perfect it passed. Well maintained and nice property. Master bedroom super. Twin bed in second bed was not particularly comfortable but made it work. Immaculate place nicely decorated and comfy. Thanks
