I was really upset that my room would not drop below 73-74 degrees, I was roasting the entire time. Also didn't really like the room I got but that's just the luck of the draw, interior facing and had a view of the roof. Overall wouldn't stay here again but everything else was pretty nice.

Technology is sub-par. No smart TVs for streaming and the tablet you’re supposed to use to order room service did not work. Room service is VERY limited and unfortunately the food was not good(we had pizza). Lastly, even if you pre-pay for parking it doesn’t guarantee you a parking spot. We pre-paid and when we arrived they indicated all parking was full and we had to park at a public lot 3 blocks away. The parking staff assured us we would be refunded for the parking. The manager would not refund our parking and told us to call Expedia. We will not stay here again. :(

The property itself is in a good location. My issue had to do with digital key. I arrived late from the airport. I requested a digital key which the app stated was prepared. After about thirty minutes I was told I had been randomly selected to go to the front desk in order to get a key card. The line was LONG!

Booked this hotel for the convenience to get to soldier field and the fact that there was UNDERGROUND PARKING AVAILABLE ON SITE. I found out while waiting in the 1 hr line to check in that the parking lot was full at 3:24 with a 3:00 P.M. check in. I was told by the woman checking in “they opened it to the public, probably because they can charge them more for parking than they do the guests to make more money”. Great. So we spent 1 hr trying to find a parking garage in the vicinity and ended up 3 miles away and having to pay for an Uber back to our hotel, THAT LISTED UNDERGROUND PARKING ON SITE. I understand first come first serve, but I would think you’d care more about your PAYING CUSTOMERS, than making more money by charging double for people who aren’t staying at the hotel to park their cars. Overall, the staff was extremely nice and the rooms were very clean, but for the money paid for 1 night to stay here I would expect more from the “valet”.

On a plus side, the parking was easy and the staff was nice. However, overall, the hotel looked and felt very old and dingy. The elevators were passed their service/inspection due date and additional floor lights would turn on by themselves. The food at two restaurants was abysmal (Kitty's and Herb...). We paid extra to stay in a room with a water view but the windows were all blocked by furniture. Additionally, the bathroom did not have a curtain/blinds so at 5am the hot sun was beating in the bathroom and there was no escaping it. It made the room super hot and uncomfortable. I normally do not leave bad reviews but I could not wait to leave that hotel. The overall vibe was so gross. Do better, Hilton.
