I give Expedia a lot of flack. The site requires pre-registration when you get to the site. I had not done it so it took me about 25 minutes to get registered and get into the room. It'd have been a lot easier to know that you had to do this before. Parking is a private parking lot with another registration. But the room is nice. The walls are thin. You can hear the cta. But the location is excellent. The room is very clean and spotless. I would stay here again. The price is much reasonable. The neighborhood is well lit and safe around the hotel. As you get away from the loop area. This is one of the best places on the near west side to stay. It's much cheaper to Uber from this place than from the loop. There are plenty of restaurants around the area also.

Stay away from this place unless you want to hear the Kashmir night club blasting music until 3 am. The bass was shaking the whole building and room. Didn’t get to sleep until 4am and had to get up a 8am. Never again

We were really impressed with the location from the green/ pink line. Shopping was a casual 15-20 minutes walk. 2 pubs across the road. Nice safe environment about the location

Loved staying there . Super clean and quiet as far as neighborhood. I would point out the wall may be a little thin, you can “ hear your neighbor sneeze or talk” pretty clearly . I’m just pointing it out if you are sensitive to noise. Other than than, a lovely place to stay.

I had never stayed at a Sonder property, so I did not know the procedure for checking in. So it was partially on me, for not checking their emails more closely. But make sure you check in through their email after booking BEFORE arriving, so you have the needed information. There is no desk, you have to electronically check in, then you'll receive a code to get you in the building, and your room number. Other than that, it was a great stay. Room was nice and clean, the area was fine, close to the train. Honestly, it was faster than a typical check-in, once you know what to do!

There’s noisy, and then there’s being able to hear full conversations from the guests upstairs from you. I literally could hear every word as if they were in my room with me. And this is a problem the property is clearly aware of. Because they quickly offered me earplugs and a white noise machine. I left two days early and received a full refund for my entire stay. Too bad. Because I was excited to try a new neighborhood in Chicago. But if a peaceful stay is important to you DO NOT RESERVE AT THIS PROPEETY.

This property was actually really great. I wasn’t sure going into it because I didn’t want it to be too good to be true. It’s reminds me of a dorm style. You have EVERYTHING in your room. The gym was great. The ONLY issue I had was the club below. I was on the 3rd floor facing the street. We could hear the music all night. We literally were up at 5am for a flight and people were leaving the club and the music was still going. Although we slept through the music, I can’t imagine a light sleeper on the 2nd floor loving that. The train you can also hear loudly, as it is directly behind the building. If you aren’t a city person it may be a tough adjustment. The community 10/10. Soooooooo walkable and a lot of night life but for 25 , going all the way to like early 40s. There’s literally something for everyone.
