"My family enjoyed spending Mother’s Day weekend at Firefly Retreat on Lake Lanier in South Carolina. We wondered around downtown Landrum one day and downtown Tryon the next. What cute little towns! We played on the lake with the paddleboard and kayak and had a little fire in the fire pit at the house. We think you’d enjoy this little getaway too. *Side note. Our trip was originally planned for October 2024 but Hurricane Helene hit just two weeks before our planned trip. "What a lovely find! The property is beautiful and the cottage is the cutest ever!! It has everything you need for a stay. It is a farm and the chickens are free roaming, which I love. There are goats and horses. So peaceful and yet so close to many things. Ian is so wonderful, easy to talk to and work with. I met the neighbor and the girl who has the horses both nice people. I will be renting this place again!! "
