The Columbus Inn is a nice older motel not far from Asheville. Checkout was easy and accurate. The staff was friendly. Although the rooms were showing some age, they were clean and everything worked. no complaints

My stay at Columbus Inn was very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and clean. We did have trouble figuring out the cable on the TV, and the breakfast wasn't great, but the price was wonderful and we felt safe. I would readily stay there again.

At the completion of a complete renovation, you can tell the owners are working hard to make the area nice and fix up what was likely in foreclosure state prior. Renovated interiors, complete cosmetic facelift on the exterior, and they are cleaning up the grounds. Very well priced for what we received and happy that they are pet friendly!

Breakfast from 6am-9am, they had breakfast hot pockets (that you had to heat up in the microwave, fruits, cereal, milk and a few other small items. A gas station is with in walking distance. Pool was not open on our stay, we didn't ask when it would be open since we stayed one night. Staff was friendly only interacted with them during check in/check out, not more than 5 minutes. Room had a microwave and small fridge. Was quiet, nothing bad to report.

Nicely renovated motel right off the interstate ( but far enough- no noise). Food and gas nearby. Was perfect place to stay while in town for an equestrian show at FENCE. Brewery and local restaurants we tried were great too

This is a fantastic spot to stay! We were in town for a horse show in Tryon and this was a perfectly convenient, affordable choice. We were so pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, the nicely kept exterior, and the great service! We will definitely return to stay here for our next horse show.

Check in was very easy and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and they straightened and provided fresh towels daily. The free breakfast was a little lacking, but fresh coffee, juice and fruit was good enough to start the day. I will be staying here again.
