We recently stayed at this cottage in the Cotswolds and overall had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, easy to find, easy parking, and situated in a charming village where it was simple to pick up essentials. The décor throughout the cottage was lovely and made for a cozy stay.
There were, however, a few things that could be improved. The towels were quite thin, and there were no basic supplies such as shampoo, laundry detergent, or coffee for the french press. The cottage also didn’t have a clothes dryer, which made washing clothes a bit inconvenient . The front door lock was difficult to operate, and the street outside was extremely dark at night. The upstairs bathroom lighting was poor, and it was hard to see in the small mirror, so I recommended travelers to bring a travel mirror. Additionally, the main bedroom bed was not very comfortable and felt quite small for two people.
Despite these issues, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the charm and style of the cottage. With a few upgrades, this could be an exceptional place to stay.
