"We stayed for two nights on a family trip and had a very pleasant experience overall. Parking is first come, first served, but once you get a spot, you have in-and-out privileges, which is very convenient. Breakfast is included and is basic but good. We especially loved the bagels! The breakfast area can get quite busy after 8:30 a.m., but the staff kindly offered us a table in the conference room, which worked out well. The saltwater pool is small but great for kids. One minor inconvenience was that the ice maker on our floor wasn't working, so we had to go to another floor to get ice. The room was super clean. You can always tell a lot from the bathroom, and the cleanliness here showed that the housekeeping team is doing a great job. The location is excellent, with easy access to many of the main attractions, including Parliament Hill, the National Gallery of Canada, and ByWard Market. The only downside is that the hotel is close to a community centre serving the local homeless population, so the surrounding area can feel a little less comfortable at times. Overall, a clean, family-friendly hotel in a very convenient location, and we would be happy to stay again."
