The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch.
The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself.
The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away.
There is no where to eat within walking distance but the 2 local pubs are a short walk and the locals are very friendly.
As we were there for a week we had a largish case which you’d struggle to get up the narrow spiral staircase so bear that in mind. If there was some storage for clothing downstairs that would be perfect. Also nowhere to hang wet items if the weather isn’t great.
We did try to contact the owners through this site twice but no response and also sent them a message on the number supplied and heard nothing back. We are trying to resolve matters through Sykes Cottages.
Overall a lovely place to stay and we would recommend
