"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. The corridors and the rooms themselves were decorated in a very dark scheme, which even with the lights on was a little difficult to always see well. "This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
