"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"Love this place! It's my second time staying here, only for 1 night each time, but really worth it. It's a very customized B&B. Each room is a work of love and craftsmanship. The included breakfast is home cooked with love. I was so impressed with Alnwick Lodge the first time I stayed here, that on my second visit I made sure to book with them again. It's a real experience in what hospitality should be."

"Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too."
