A really old property with nice rooms. Plenty of outside space. A good menu for evening meals. Breakfast was good and served in the cafe area.

Niice enough for a few nights. My room wasnt the best but they happily gave me a better one. Neighbours were noisy however. View was nice, breakfast was nice and staff helpful. 20min walk to Rochester, which was fine, and the dockyard very interesting!!

The George sits at the budget end of the scale but you would be hard pressed to find better value for money in Medway. Good views of the River Medway from our room and no complaints at all.

Rooms were lovely and cosy and a decent size, good bathrooms too. Very friendly and bar open until midnight! Decent breakfast, although cooked breakfast relatively small (when you specify mushrooms, you don't expect to get just one!).

We have stayed here a number of times, generally speaking the place is okay regarding price v quality. This time I was disappointed with the cleaning of the room specifically the bathroom sink. I doubt that plug hole had been cleaned in months, hair, food and lord know what else. May have point me off revisiting.

Excellent budget stay we use when attending comedy at the local theatre. 200 yards from the high street, plenty of places to eat. Breakfast is included and is more than acceptable. This hotel used to be a vibrant hub for functions and wedding receptions etc. the new owners stopped this, not sure how well the place will do long term. Fingers crossed.
