The area was very convenient for our needs - near the train station and near restaurants and in walking distance of the cathedral. The room was clean although the hallways were not as clean as they could have been.

Absolutely perfect location for exploring Chartres. Very close to the cathedral and train station. Felt safe where it was. Enough of a selection at breakfast although the one member of staff was rushed off her feet trying to keep up with demand.

Good hotel, no hairdryer in the room and the pillows were incredibly high.... Left me with a painful neck (but that may just be me). Parking is excellent and secure. Breakfast is small, chaotic (only member of staff refilling) but good. Overall good value for money and would stay again.

Perfect for our one night visit to Chartres

We found the hotel to be very well placed for a short visit to Chartres. The secure parking was very important to us. The hotel was very clean and excellent value for money.

Chatres is a gem.

Half a block to train station. Safe and clean area. 7 minute walk to restaurants and the cathedral. Room was nice, too.

Nice Hotel, Great Location

Great hotel in Chartres. Friendly service and very nice breakfast. Location was perfect for a visit to the cathedral...a very short walk. The hotel is also a short walk to many restaurants in the city. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Great Location in Comfortable Hotel

Great location in central Chartres with a very comfortable bed for an excellent night’s sleep. It was a hot day but the aircon quietly kept us cool. The only small downside is the shower drain filter needed cleaning as the water was slow to drain. The buffet breakfast was basic but good. Apart from a small gripe I’d certainly stay again especially as it has on site parking.

Wonderful stay

Only 2-3 minute walk from the railway station. Most rooms have a view of the cathedral. Room was ok, with a french balcony. Bath and toilet could have been cleaner. No bed bugs as of time of writing. Excellent service, nice breakfast.

Good value, with caveats

Overall, a very good experience. Modern hotel right near the train station and good restaurants. Staff was courteous but not overly friendly. The first room a/c didn’t work, usb ports didn’t work and phone was so full of static, the front desk couldn’t hear me. Demanded another room. A/c and usb worked but phone was the same. How can you operate a modem hotel where the phones don’t work??!!!
