"We got a message notifying us the check-in time started at 3 p.m. We arrived and the hotel was closed. No one answered the call. Luckily, the Expedia staff was able to refund our money since he wasn't able to reach the hotel staff himself."

"A fine place overall…I’m a tough grader. Just a little dated and lacking if you’re wanting a posh type of resort. Snacks and bottled water was a nice touch, compared to how they would gouge you at a nice place in South Beach. Bar staff at the beach bar struggled regularly! Pool kind of meh but I guess did the job. The coolest part is the location right on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk for walkable access and people watching. Surrounding scene is fun if you want old school Florida - NOT like the ritzy parts of Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Rooms are pretty small. Bathtub shower was underwhelming. But again, a decent place that gives you what you need. "

"The positive: location was great. Right next to the beach. Plus you get 1 umbrella and two beach towels. The hotel is also close to lots of restaurants. The Hollywood boardwalk is very nice. The adult pool was great to get away from the crowd. The room had fantastic bed. The negative: There were lots of guests. I felt overwhelmed sometimes. Long lines at the coffee place. I didn’t even go to the all ages pool because they were always busy. Also there were lines to take the elevator. The cleaning crew would come at the end of the day to clean the room, sometimes at 5 pm. The pressure with the water in the shower was very weak. I guess they didn’t want you to stay too long in the shower."

"This place is disgusting!! Room smelled like pot!! Used tissues in the room--they smelled like pot!! Bar of soap in bathroom was about the size of a Hershey's mini chocolate bar. Cost $240!! It wasn't worth $40. The only positive was that the lady who checked us in was pleasant. It's an embarrasment to Expedia!!"

"Beach within 1 block! Understaffed but those working are helpful. Property is confusing with several spread out buildings and pools. Location is very good. Beach walkway and restaurants very good experience."
