About this property
Waterfront Home - Hot Tub, Dock, Fire Pit, Boat
Choose how to enjoy your trip - make s'mores, lounge in the hot tub, go for a kayak, grill on the porch while enjoying the sunset or take to the nearby park to take advantage of pickle ball, hiking and more. We developed this space to provide a true and effortless Lake Norman experience. This home is great for a staycation, vacation, a work-from-home alternative or for families. Located 45 minutes from downtown Charlotte (& airport), you can enjoy the water by day and city by night.
This recently refurbished home has everything you’d expect..
OUTDOORS: The property features 100 feet of private waterfront. Water is typically about 3 feet deep. Boat lift available for V shaped hulls. Enjoy the water by using provided floats or (2) paddle boards and (2) kayaks that are located conveniently on the dock. Near the dock, you’ll find a fire pit. And off the house, you’ll find an elevated patio with ample furniture and a grill to enjoy the sunset. Down below, you’ll find a professionally maintained hot tub and games like corn hole. There is solar lighting and flood lights around the property to provide an inviting ambience.
MAIN SPACE: The main space in the home, which includes the kitchen, living and dining rooms, is ready for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes all of the normal amenities you’d expect like small appliances and coffee bar (coffee provided). Dining has seating for 8. Enjoy the electrical fireplace in the living room while watching TV. Downstairs, you’ll find a dedicated office desk space with monitor and wet bar with mini-fridge that leads into a large game room. Here we have a MASSIVE TV and multiple couches, perfect for a movie night. All TV’s in the home have the availability for you to play directly from your phone or computer.
BEDROOMS: The bedrooms in the home are just what you need for your getaway. Upstairs you’ll find the master w/ closet and TV as well as another guest bedroom. A large bathroom with a new walk in shower is shared by these spaces. Downstairs, you’ll find another guest bedroom. Additionally, there is a (very comfy, easy operation) queen murphy bed that is located in the game room These spaces share a second full bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was really accommodating. The place was excellent for us and four of our teenage and young adult children, plus one dog...Will definitely return!
Unfortunately we didn’t get to spend much time at the house other than for sleeping, but I would definitely book it again! It was very inviting and we loved the game room downstairs. Thoughtful instructions throughout made everything easy to settle into and we felt right at home. Very clean, great location next to the park, and the convenience of publix (and a great wine shop next to neighbors 828!) make it a perfect spot to stay on the lake.
We had a great time at this property. Really enjoyed S’mores by the firepit followed by a dip in the hot tub. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of board games to pass the time. We came during winter so no outside activities but it was still a great time.
We enjoyed a weekend at this beautiful property. The landscaping is so nicely done. Everything you could want is here already, fire pit, dock, kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, fast WiFi, games! Ample space to spread out when you need to! The owner is amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! Even left a gift for us relating to why we were in town! Our friends are already trying to get tabs on who is booking this rental for the next tournament! If you get a chance, come stay and enjoy a beautiful relaxing weekend next to the lake!
We enjoyed staying at your beautiful, yet comfortable little place tucked in a quietcove on the lake. Well appointed and clean. The hot tub was a highlight, along with the kayaks we used everyday.
Amazing space! House is very comfortable for a party of seven with a few dogs. All of the beds are very comfortable! The quiet cove of the lake is a wonderful place to swim/kayak/sup. Would definitely recommend!
Very peaceful and relaxing environment. We were able to enjoy so much without having to leave the house. We played skee-ball and relaxed in the hot tub for a while. The water was low but we were still able to kayak from the dock out to the lake which was so much fun. The weather was perfect so we were able to sit on the deck and listen to nature and have a cookout as well. We watched movies on the big screen TV. We would definitely stay here again when in this area. The host was quick to reply and very nice and helpful with our checkout.
Recently renovated clean, neat house and grounds. Quiet cove with a neighbor on one side and woods on the other. We had a minor AC issue, but host was very helpful and got it resolved quickly. If u are pulling a wakeboard boat or a center console w a fixed top, u should know that there are 3 low bridges between the house and the big water. My deck boat cleared all 3 with the top up, but one bridge gave us only 3/4 inch clearance. We stopped and checked every time for fear a good rain could raise the lake level an inch or two.

The host was great to work with, very responsive and accommodating. There were unfortunately a number of issues with the stay, especially during the first day or two that started the trip off poorly. The dock has some damage and due to the drought, the water was extremely low. This is completely out of anyone's control and we adapted our plans for the week accordingly. The main refrigerator is much smaller than a full-sized refrigerator and unable to keep groceries cold if full. We contacted the host and the following day, a full size replacement refrigerator was brought into the space to replace the small one. The full-sized refrigerator was in complete disrepair, smelled horribly, and was very dirty. We had to bring the small refrigerator back in from a storage shed and split our groceries for the week between 2 mini-refrigerators to be able to maintain a cool enough temperature. We purchased ice for the week as the ice maker was slimy and dirty on the inside. The host let us know we would not have access to a working washing machine during the trip, which can be pretty inconvenient when you have children. We were accommodated with access to additional towels. The skeeball table is broken and was "repaired" with a piece of paper.Much of the issues in the home seem to be related to poor communication and cleaning from whoever manages the property. It is a beautiful location with much promise. The host is patient and communicative.
