Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of lake living at 'Saunderosa' this beautiful three level home; over 3800 Square Feet, which is fully furnished/equipped and surrounded by large shade trees with private water frontage with a brand new 42 ft dock, brand new deck off living area, and patio areas that offer both sun & shade. It has all the entertainment you will need both inside and out.With the 3 level floor plan easily accomodates multiple families. It is located in a private cul-de-sac, inside an airpark community with a private strip making this area very eclectic and charming.A Great House to come and enjoy the lake, time away with your family and friends.......Come Make those Special Memories........

The main level has an open airy feel. The fully equipped kitchen is ready and waiting to prepare any meal you would like. The dining room has a very large table enough to accommodate 8 people with exquisite view of lake, along with the kitchen bar that has 3 additional stools, this flows into the living area that has a vaulted ceiling and stone fireplace, which burns real wood, and a 55' flat screen TV with a blueray player for your favorite movies. Lots of dvd's there or bring your favorites! This room also has two large patio doors that open onto a raised deck overlooking the bottom deck and hot tub area. Both decks have the same gorgeous view of lake. Also on side yard lots of grass you can enjoy, crochet, horseshoes, badmitton....bring your bikes lots of great trails nearby in State Park or bike in neighborhood. There is a basketball hoop and room to have a game with friends and family.

The upper level of house is where the luxurious master suite is which offers another wood fireplace. A 46 inch flat screen tv above fireplace mantel. The master bath has a garden tub and a standing shower with seperate dressing area and double vanity sinks with granite counters. Then there is a loft which is the perfect place for peace and quiet to get work done or enjoy a book.

Then enjoy our nostalgic lower level GAME ROOM complete with a full bar, pool table, poker table & chips, dart board and brand new pacman cocktail table & golf video game. We have a table set up for those who love puzzles and card games. Something for EVERYONE! This level also has a bedroom with beautiful lake view and full bath. And just in case you are having to much fun and feel guilty, there is a workout room. The bottom level then opens out onto a brand new sun deck , all new patio furniture to relax, hang out, view the lake or read that favorite book,. There's a new grill area and fantastic hot tub overlooking the lake.

Bring your own boat or jet skis, there is boat launching nearby. We have DEEP WATER year round so no worries on a dry cove. Or you can rent a boat by the day or week; Lake Norman Marine & others specialize in pontoon or jet ski rentals. Local rental companies will deliver to our dock. Perfect for those who want to wake up and jump on their boat for a day of fun on Lake Norman. The dock area also has the perfect little lakeside screened in gazebo where you can play games and enjoy your favorite 'beverage'. If you dont want to boat, you can always fish, swim or float in this cozy and safe cove, or even rent a kayak. We're told the fishing is fantastic right off dock! We also have paddleboat, 2 kayaks and 1 paddleboard for your enjoyment.

So we invite you and your family to enjoy and create wonderful memories here where you have everything you need. We provide premium /luxury bed linens, down comforters with duvets on top of brand new Foster Stearns Mattresses, towels for 8/10 people. Your comfy beds are made up and waiting for you to arrive and enjoy. We supply your initial start up of papergoods, toilet paper, soaps, and papertowels. Also if you don't have time or want to deal with grocery shopping, email me a prepared list of what you would like to have stocked and I will have it there waiting for you for an extra fee. This truly is your home away from home. Fun begins the minute you walk thru the doors.. So come and enjoy Saunderosa you will love it!!!! Best Kept Secret on the lake.......

PS... We take great pride in our home and do NOT tolerate large parties. We do however want you and your families to have a wonderful time!! But the house is only set up for 10 people.

The Perfect Lake getaway

My wife and I enjoyed a great long weekend at the Saunderosa house for our anniversary trip. The house has a great location in a quiet neighborhood with a perfect view of the water. Lots of outdoor seating perfect for sipping on something good whether it be dawn or dusk. The house really did feel like a home and we settled in quickly. We will definitely be back!

Tranquil and adventurous stay

Amazing and so appreciative for our stay. Except for a bit of a trip to the grocery store, (a small price to pay for serenity), there is no reason for you to leave this property. Tranquil, exciting and overall an amazing time. Literally something to do for everyone from age 1-100.

Property was beautiful, perfect for a family vacation. Something for everyone, gaming area/bar in bottom level was awesome! Plenty of space for meals in or out. Enjoyed floating off the dock area. Sporting equipment in great shape (kayaks were used multiple times). Kitchen was very functional and had everything needed for any meal. Ice maker in lower level was HUGE! Thanks again Toni for all the communication you had with us during our trip. It is evident that you really care that your guests enjoy their stay! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lake Norman.

Perfection on Lake Norman

This beautiful property has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pictures do not do it justice. It was very clean with clear instructions on how everything works and what is included in your stay. Communication was great and all of the information in the notebook was helpful. RAD Grad getaway

So many fun toys! wonderful set up on the water for enjoying the outdoors whether it be in the hot tub or by the fire pit, or on the dock or in the water on the flotation devices or boats. The home is full of unique art and comfy, Cool decor. Kitchen fully stocked. Everything you need.

Beautiful and Relaxing

If you are looking for a well appointed, beautiful home with outstanding views, look no further. Saunderosa has it all. The home is comfortable and easily accomodates groups of friends, family and even fur babies. There are many amenities including paddleboating and kayaking, pool, darts, and tabletop pacman! There is even a closet full of games and puzzles. But the very best thing is being able to sit and enjoy lake life and all the beauty that entails. Will definitely come back again and again. Thank you for opening this gorgeous home to us.

Amazing Home

This was probably the best vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. Was perfectly comfortable for us during our stay in NC for a wedding. House has got it all and it’s well maintained.

Family time at the lake

Everything was wonderful. The communications were clear and timely. Toni is very friendly and helpful. The house was on a great street with a beautiful view. It was well stocked for cooking and relaxing. It kept everyone entertained with the water equipment, game room, and my son enjoyed the hot tub one night. There were board games and yard games. We had spaces to spend family time together but also had the room to spread out. It is a little drive to the stores and restaurants but if you stock up you don't have to go anywhere very often. We hit a couple of our favorite restaurants and tried a couple of new ones. We can't wait to return.

I unique neighborhood for sure! Saunderosa was like a "family resort!" It had a game room, bar, workout room, and a great deck, dock...and hot tub. It was fantastic!

A view of fresh air!

A group of us/friends stayed there as a type of reunion. We had a great time- enjoyed the beautiful views repeatedly as well as walks through the neighborhood. The kitchen was well-stocked and we made several meals. The beds were comfortable and cozy. Our host was attentive and gracious. We had a lovely coat and hope to return.
