Thank you for sharing your lake home with us it was perfect for our family everything was as expected, even my 88 yr old father was able to walk down the stairs with his walker to join us on the boat( first time in 3 years we usually have to drive to marina to get him in)
My only suggestion would be a crock pot in kitchen ( for those who would like to come home to a cooked meal after boating all day)
Again Thank You for a beautiful vacation looking forward to returning next year
The outdoor space was the best feature. We spent a lot of time on the lower deck and dock. The kayaks were used daily. The little cove was perfect for floating in the water. I gave it four stars because the bathrooms had a musty smell and a few of the mattresses were not very comfortable. That said, I would stay there again because of the location and the outdoor setting.

So if you are like me and you depend on an a honest review, then read on.
We rented this home for about 5 weeks while we our home was being built. We moved here from upstate NY and needed a place that would fit our family which included 2 dogs. I was so happy when I found this place. It fit all our needs with space, price and proximity to our new home. Of course you never really know what you are going to get when you book online, site un-seen. We were so relieved when we arrived to find a clean home, ready for us to "make ours" for a bit.
I have to tell you about Lauren, (she handles everything)! She has been so amazing. So our home was not done on time, and Lauren did everything she could to help us out. She went above and beyond for our family and I will forever be thankful for that. I knew the day we were to arrive, she called to check in on us and see how the drive was going. I thought that was so sweet.
Whether you are coming for a vacation or looking for a rental while you relocate I highly recommend this home. The location is so perfect, it is on a dead end, with a beautiful deck, a dock, fire pit area, and even a grill for cookouts. There are kayaks if you want to get out on the lake. You are close to Publix grocery store, and not far from Denver for Moorseville.
We will recommend this home to friends and family that want to come for a visit. Oh, I should mention the cute pool table, our boys loved this!
Have fun and enjoy!
Super kind owner who recently purchased property and went out of her way to help us enjoy our stay. Our family of 6 was very comfortable. We loved having air conditioning, a pool table and having a private dock. There was easy access to a boat launch (located right across the narrow canal, that cost just $10). Lake water was warm in early Aug., perfect for swimming, apparently too warm for fishing. Great dock with ladder for fun in the water or just relaxing. Back deck was pleasant with some shade, table & grill. Having a restaurant across the canal was not an issue for us, with noise or boat traffic. (They were closed Mon & Tues). The home was clean. We didn’t mind a few little things that weren’t brand new or showed signs of being lived in, as we aren’t “stuffy” people. Families don’t need elite perfection to create wonderful memories. The home was just what we needed and was very welcoming. You couldn’t have ask for better service from the new owner when we had question.
Very cozy home. Straight access to the lake and the pontoon there was very nice. Loved the outdoor porch. The ac had a issue they fixed it immediately and the trip went smoothly and also made me happy with how they fixed everything. I would recommend this place 100% and I will stay again,
We had a great time. It was several adults and teenagers. We had plenty of space. I think the listing was very accurate. Plenty of things to do at the lake house and around the surrounding area. It was great being able to handle the boat rental through the booking.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Not accurate listing, rundown double wide trailer
This place is in serious need of upgrades and repair! Place was moderately clean, however only moderate. The bathroom had mold and mildew, the freezer looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year.
The pool table was a cheap variety, and the pool cues had no tips, so you couldn’t even use it. The dining table had seats for 6, although 2 of them were loose and wobbly. There were 2 extra chairs in the closet, but they were both damaged, so if you had 10 people, you only have seating for 6. Also, on the last night attempted to do laundry, the washing machine quit working, so was left with a pile of wet clothes. When tried to put them in dryer to at least get them dried, the dryer wouldn’t function. Upon leaving and loading stuff up in the car, the owner was on site getting stuff out of the shed. He asked me how the stay was, I said ok but the place needed some serious upgrading. He laughed and said “yeah, that’s my winter project, if you wanted a nicer place we have several others that are more expensive.”
All in all, way overpriced for what you get, which is a run down double wide trailer.
Double edged sword ...We loved everything about the "outside" of this house... the backyard with the two decks, the easy access to the boat dock, the location to the grocery store and the marina & easy access to the
Lake..However, the inside of the house needed serious updates, all the blinds were broken with slats hanging; holes in the floor in one of the bedrooms; sour smell in the bathrooms; burned food in the bottom of the oven; melted food in the bottom of the refrigerator and a broken drawer also in the refrigerator.
I was embarrassed to have my family see the place I rented in that condition.
We enjoyed our family reunion at this home and the home next door. Lauren was great to work with throughout the rental. The house is on a nice quiet street. Home has nearly everything you need for a fun vacation. Beds were comfy, shower pressure was good, cable TV was handy and wifi worked well. We rented the tritoon boat during our stay and it was so convenient to have a boat available whenever we wanted. There was even a tube to enjoy with it. There were two decks for lounging and eating and there's a new Weber grill that was awesome for our cookouts. We also made use of the pool table, corn hole and kayaks. Only a mile from Publix made this location convenient for picking up groceries.
Had everything you need for a great getaway! Yes, we would say again.

Nice lake Getaway
This house had everything we needed. It was great to have a boat available to rent. The house manager, Lauren, was very helpful and responsive.
*We do NOT recommend What's Up Lake Norman (jet ski and boat rental company) We were "late" for our pick up time and they called us a no show and kept our $185.
It was a great stay at the lake house. We stayed for 5 days. You are close to everything. Grocery stores are less than 5 minutes away. The restaurant is a close walk to the house. The pontoon was fantastic. We rented it for 2 days. The battery was dead but the owner came out and had it charged up within an hour. The home was comfortable. I was worried that the hot water would go cold with 4 people taking showers back to back but no, we have more than enough hot water which is a plus. Being a realtor, I have seen the good, bad, and ugly. This rental was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.
Beautiful house and lakefront property in a small quiet neighborhood. Across the lake is a great restaurant/bar. Boat dock is perfect. Grill and firepit!!
We wanted a week away with our adult children and our dogs and to enjoy fall weather and some time on the lake. We took advantage of the fire pit, the four kayaks and we rented the pontoon for two days - everything was as we hoped.
The property was convenient to a large grocery, gas station and restaurants. Lauren was a gracious host.
A great time was had by all. A great place for teens, parents and grandparents with a nice fishing dock, fire pit , kayaks and a pontoon boat for rent. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by also , no need to travel far after you get here .
We had a great time. Loved the location and all there was to do. Had a few minor issues but the owner came and fixed them. Housekeeper could of did a better job. She left dog hair on everything.
Overall you couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The location is great and the property manager was incredible to work with. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting the area.
clean, cozy, has everything you want for a fun family vacation. Great location on a beautiful lake. Boating is a must if you want the full effect. Excellent communication with owners.
This was one great find. Tucked in on a nice private cove. Wednesday night is Shag night at The Landing. You can sit out on the deck and enjoy the music. Food is great there too. The cove was has easy access to the lake and two marinas. We had an absolute wonderful time.
We loved staying at Lauren's place and had a blast. We were 3 families, each with one little one and the place was perfect for a quick stay/ We rented the boat from Lauren which was such a nice perk and enjoyed the direct waterfront access so we can bop in and out around the kids' sleep schedule. Lauren was very accomodating with a few small issues we had (ie. bringing us a new blender when we discovered the one there was broken). We would definitely stay there again!
