The second floor features a large open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, complete with a dining table seating eight. Just off the kitchen there is a king bedroom with custom millwork, along with a full bath featuring a custom vanity and tile shower.
The third floor is dedicated to the primary suite, which includes a king bed and a custom ensuite bathroom. Also on this floor is another king bedroom with an additional twin trundle bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. The house was beautiful and was in the perfect location to celebrate a bachelorette weekend! Would highly recommend this unit and the management team was wonderful and super helpful for our stay!
We had such a great experience at guest house. The location was perfect and within walking distance of everything we wanted to explore. The rooms were a perfect set up to share space and plenty of room for all 8 of us who stayed together.
This was a very nice house to stay in for the weekend with a great location. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend!
This is a great property in a great location for visiting the sights of Charleston. Easy walks to restaurants and markets. Parking is a little tight, but it is really nice to have a designated space off of the street.
The house was beautiful! Perfect location to upper King and a great choice for a bachelorette party. Would not recommend if you’re a family with young kids. There’s a lot of nightlife in this area so it’s very noisy (loud music from local bars) at night. Would definitely book again for the type of event we were there for.
Place was beautiful and in a great location. Only complaint - water pressure was not great. Kitchen sink was an issue when trying to rinse or wash dishes.
This place is absolutely perfect for a weekend get away. The location could not have been any better. Fine dining close by, easy shopping within a block. This place has 3 comfortable king beds which the main reason for staying here. Each couple being 60+ had the comforts of home.

Birthday trip for a 16 and 17 year old girls in our family . The house beautiful.. quality was amazing . I’m a licensed contractor who specializes in Historic Restoration.. so when I say it was done right .. it was done right . We walked to shopping and restaurants and will definitely stay there again !
We loved our stay in Charleston! Guesthouse Charleston: EAST (46 H) was exactly what we needed for our party of 7. The location is perfect for everything to do. The noise level between 11 PM-2 AM is off the charts so prepare for that. (We took the advice of other reviewers and took earplugs.) Even with that, we would choose this property again because everything else was just so perfect the noise became minor. Check-in to check out, to questions about parking were responded to within minutes. Can't say enough good things about it!
Our family of six gathered from 3 different cities to celebrate Christmas. This house was perfect with 3 king beds and separate bathrooms. It was comfortable and clean. We could walk to so many shops, bars and restaurants. We walked all the way down King Street to the market and to the water! The management team was easy to work with and responsive to our one request!! Don’t miss Babas, Pass sandwich shop, Holey Bagels and Southbound, all within walking distance! Great place for a getaway 😃
The apartment was clean and cool (it was HOT outside). The staff was very responsive and helpful. There are a lot of stairs, which wasn’t an issue for us, just FYI. The living room is big so it was nice to have to hang or watch TV. The kitchen had everything we needed. The location is a bit far from restaurants, shops but more retail seems to be coming to upper King St.
Truly the best rental I've ever booked through VRBO to date. Photos and descriptions matched up perfectly to reality. Very well done in terms of layout, decor, and updates. Owner greeted us up on arrival, we were able to text someone on call at all times for assistance, they responded promptly to any questions, everything was very clean & tidy and the house was well stocked with the basics. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom which was perfect for the 3 couples staying there.The unit itself is on the corner with a lot of natural light. It is located above and ADORABLE shop and across from a nice bar. This is a rental in an urban setting - so be advised that you will hear sirens, dump trucks, motorcycles, night life, etc at times. We all used white noise apps and slept GREAT - so it truly wasn't an issue for us - but sharing more as an FYI. There is a short term rental district in Charleston - and this is located in that district. Very walkable to many dining, shopping and night life options. It's easy to get an Uber if needed as well.Highly recommend this one and would stay there again without hesitation - even for a much longer stay. Thanks again for a great weekend getaway!
We were in town for a bachelorette with a group of 8. We had plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable! We were able to get early and late check in/out without an issue. Super close to walk to king street and an easy uber to everything else in Charleston! Would definitely stay again if back in town!
House was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Easy to walk to bars, restaurants and coffee shops. It was on the second floor and the additional bedrooms were on the 3rd floor. Lots of stairs, not great with a toddler or anyone who has trouble with stairs. Located across from a busy bar/restaurant with loud music each night. Also backed up to a major construction site that was very noisy during the week. Parking lot is very tight and not easy to park a large vehicle. Otherwise an awesome stay!
