I'm from Beaufort, sister lives in Summerville and mom flew down from Rhode Island. The three of us spent a few beautiful, sunny days in Charleston together. This is a charming place. Very clean and well appointed. It is a 10 minute walk to the Music Hall. We walked to the shops on King Street, all the way to the marketplace. Plenty of places to stop in for a drink or bite to eat. Ubers are readily avaliable in a matter of minutes right at the gate when you give address. We left my car safely parked in spot D our entire stay. The grounds are very clean. Landscaping is pretty. We did have a little glitch with the ice maker in the fridge not working. We walked down to Jersey Mikes and bought a few cups of ice to get us through the first night. The property manager was responsive and had Dustin out the next day to address the fridge and deliver us a bag of ice. He replaced the filter but sadly it didn't produce ice during our stay, but bagged ice was available. The back bedroom, with the extremely comfortable king size bed, could use room darkening shades. The adjacent lots have two extremely bright security lights that stay on all night long and the thin bamboo shades in that room offer no barrier at all to those bright lights. Our last night there we were watching a movie after a night out and we kept getting an interruption of Mac ID code on the TV. I guess the guest in the next unit was trying to connect on their TV but it was picking up on our TV.
