Booked a Grand Deluxe room for 3 nights in early Apr'18. The room that was given doesn't come with curved floor-to-ceiling window with xiang river view as per their advertised photo. I was given a city view room instead. Have been to front desk to inquire and request for a room change but was told that was not the type of room I have booked. As I have booked a Grand Deluxe room but not a Standard room thus I'm very sure of the room type I have booked meets my expectation. After confirming room type I have booked was correct, I was told only single bed room comes with curved floor-to-ceiling window with river view, but not twin bed room. Since I have paid extra charges for additional bed thus I'm ok with single bed room for us (3 adults), but was again told all such rooms type were fully booked, and I need to pay extra to upgrade my room type. I find it ridiculous for me to pay extra for what the hotel failed to deliver the room type I have booked. Front desk has given me an impression that money is what they care for and no service at all. What is even more disappointing is that there is no heating at all in such a 5 stars hotel. There is no heating even after a few hours thus have resorted to turn off the air conditioning, sleeping in cold room. Location is good but overall it's not worth what we have paid for to enjoy such services and experiences. We will never stay in this hotel if we visit ChangSha again.
