One of the assets of the flat is its location. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the cable car to the Aiguille du Midi and close to ski buses, restaurants and shops. At the foot of the building, you will find a mini-market, a pharmacy, a sports and ski rental shop (where you will get a 20% discount), a tobacconist's, a newsagent's, etc.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to discover the emblematic sites of Chamonix such as: the Mer de Glace and the Montenvers train (departure station at 9 minutes), the Tourist Office at 8 minutes, the Maison de la Mémoire et du Patrimoine at 10 minutes, but also the Richard Bozon Sports Centre at 16 minutes on foot, the Domaine des Planards at 18 minutes, and many others...
The accommodation is accessible with the Mont Blanc Express train, the "Aiguille du Midi" stop is the nearest (less than 5 minutes walk). The Chamonix Sud bus stop is 300 m away. It takes 15 minutes to get to the slopes of the different ski areas: Brévent Flégère, Les Houches, Le Tour, Les Grands Montets, etc.

We rented 2 apartments thru Expedia. This one is HostNfly and managed poorly (but HappyRentals = excellent). HostNFly asked many times when we'd be departing before we even arrived. I replied the first time. 28 hours prior to our scheduled departure (8:00 a.m.) they asked again via WhatsApp rude.
We booked through Expedia, but it's subcontracted through HostNFly and they have someone else take a security deposit. We thought the email was a scam and ignored it at first. The second email we replied to asking if it was a legitimate request as we'd booked through Expedia so why is a 3rd party requesting €250.00? And how would we ever get it back if there was a dispute? We finally gave our credit card to the 3rd party Swikly (which we never heard of). Why didn't Expedia take the deposit? Until we got into the unit, we were still concerned the booking was fake/a scam. Relieved it wasn't.
Upon arrival, Sheets and towels are set on the beds in a pile. None of the beds are made up. The large bed is only accessible by one side.
We cleaned our unit including stripping the bed as per request. Not sure what the cleaning fee is for honestly. If they spend 15 minutes cleaning the bathroom and removing the trash bag I would be surprised.
Positive: view of Mt. Blanc from balcony. Onsite receptionist.
Negative: shared balcony with only a transparent barrier in between units. Also, Saturday night neighbor was partying until 3a.m. and they were incredibly loud even after we spoke with them.
