This charming chalet is a real haven where you can retreat into the heart of nature after enjoying the many activities the valley has to offer, whilst remaining close to the centre of Chamonix. You’ll particularly appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the terrace with its views, the queen-size bed and the bathtub, all of which will help you make the most of your stay. For the more active, there’s a hiking trail just a stone’s throw away leading straight into the mountains. Welcome home!
Decorated and furnished in a mountain style, you have the entire chalet to yourself. You’ll find a living area with a comfortable lounge (TV, Wi-Fi) as well as a dining area and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen; from the lounge, you’ll access a mezzanine with a 160cm bed (ceiling height 80cm – 20cm skylight without a blind but not very bright). Please note: the ladder is not suitable for young children. A bathroom with a bath, washbasin and toilet completes the interior. Outside, you can enjoy a large terrace with a dining area and sun loungers, perfect for taking in the view of the Brévent range across the valley. Free parking is available in the communal car park.
The Parc de la Yagire is a small, peaceful residential complex at the entrance to Chamonix, at the foot of the Mont Blanc range, comprising small chalets known as ‘Mazots’ in Savoie. It offers the perfect balance between the authenticity of mountain accommodation and modern comfort. Just around the corner is a small path that takes you straight into the mountains, perfect for hikers. Although having a car is recommended, you can also reach Chamonix town centre on foot in 15 minutes to enjoy its year-round vibrancy. A parking space in the driveway is available for your use. Ideally, you should bring your own car, which makes things much easier. However, it is also possible to walk to the town centre and back (though this is more difficult in winter if there is heavy snow). It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the station.
