"This hotel is adorable. It’s comfortable modern inside of a traditional Tuscan building and it’s so so charming. The owners are charming too and they are on top of every last amenity. I were oils easily stay here again! I loved our stay "
"The rooms are in good condition. The personal is very nice and professional.
Thr restaurant is only open at weekend, but in this area you've much alternative restaurants."
"Posizione molto suggestiva e immersa nel verde.
Struttura disponibile ad accogliere animali, senza sovrapprezzo o altre complicazioni.
Unica nota; la colazione, per quanto molto buona, non offre cibi salati (formaggio, prosciutto...)
Tuttavia il rapporto qualità prezzo resta sicuramente positivo."
"We loved everything about our stay here. The staff and Barbara went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure we were enjoying our stay. Luca, the chef came around during dinner chatting with the tables. The farm to table style of dining was unique and always delicious. We loved the mountain trails to explore the landscape and the views are spectacular. Our apartment was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside on the upper level patio taking in the tranquility, beauty...
"Excellent service and hospitality in a wonderful old castle on top of the hill. The city square offered the best pizza-place and evening entertainment in the square with cover band playing ABBA-hits. We will definitely come back and visit again!"

A perfect get away in Tuscany close to Cinque Terre
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful palazzo. The apartments were spacious and clean. We visited with an extended family, so each smaller unit could have their own apartment and some space whenever needed, yet we could all eat outside together (or inside on the occasional rainy day), and spend time in the pool. The kids (ages 2-6) especially adored their pool time. There are lovely small towns to visit nearby. The host, Mirella, is gracious and kind, informing us of local events, and times when local merchants had things to sell, vegetables/fruit, bread, fish, etc. There was also a festival over the weekend with local artists selling their wares, and music and food in the park. Highly recommended!"
"Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined.
I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."
Villa Iris with private pool, 4 bedrooms, panoramic view, walk to restaurant
8/10 Good
"Owner Enrico has been really helpfull and friendly. The Villa is on 4 levels (one for the pool, 3 for the building floors) which gives you more privacy but also makes it harder to stay together if that's what your group wants. 1 restroom for each room is a luxury. However, they they would need some renovations, as wel as the kitchen.Great common areas such as outside patio, inner dining room and big sofa areas. Beautiful landscape. Overall very good if you are looking for a rustic retreat in the countryside"
Costola, private pool, stunning mountain views. Chef on request.
10/10 Excellent
"Where to begin!? The photos in the listing simply do not do this property justice. It is a truly magical location and I highly recommend it. We rented the entire place, for 20 people, to celebrate a birthday and each family, couple or single had their own private space/apartment, while still being part of the whole. It's charming and had all the amenities. There are several nearby villages to grab dinner or groceries, and Lucca is only an hour away. It's a bit of a hike to the marble quarries, or Cinque Terre but we did it. You must have a car or driver though, it's too remote to get to and from easily. The owners were delightful. We ended up booking breakfast everyday, as well as a pizza night and a final goodbye dinner with their chef. Everything was fantastic!! Make sure you get an e-sim (their wifi is fine too) before you arrive and load up google translate, as the owners only speak Italian. We will cherish our memories of our stay for years to come. "
"Beautiful property, full of history and culture.
Staff at Castello have been exceptional, friendly and attentive. 5/5 for cleanliness and food. Pool is quite clean and well equipped for relaxing. Would highly recommend :-)"
Restored farmhouse with private pool, unbeatable stupendous views and WIFI!
10/10 Excellent
"Our little group of 4 had a wonderful stay at Pian di Luca! The view was spectacular, and the accommodations were perfect. From “Pizza & Wine” night at the property to afternoons by the pool, we loved every minute of our time spent here."
Palazzo Pasquini, stunning views/sunsets, private pool, WIFI, chef option!
10/10 Excellent
"The description didn’t do the house justice! This beautiful house is perfect for large groups providing both social areas and privacy. The kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor grill and pizza oven were readily accessible with lots of available wood. Beautiful view from the outdoor area where we enjoyed dinner watching the sunset.Eleanora was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. We did find the drive up the mountain to be a bit challenging with the size of vehicle we had (large van for seven adults), but would highly recommend, especially if you’re not planning many day trips."
Perfect for groups! Covered outdoor kitchen, Private pool. Close restaurant
10/10 Excellent
"What a find! We went as a large family group, so to have separate apartments for each individual family worked out perfectly for us. Their accommodation was well equipped immaculately clean and comfortable. Some of our part of a clean cyclist, so to any cyclist it’s an absolute Mecca, but you have to like hills! "
