"I wish I could have stayed longer. The place is beautiful, clean, and smells wonderful. It’s only an 8-minute walk from Assisi train station. The location is excellent—we walked just 5 minutes to the Basilica of Santa Maria. For halal food, Alo Ali Kebab shop is right across the road, and for non-Muslims there are plenty of highly rated restaurants nearby. The housekeeper, Joy, was amazing—we already miss her! "Beautiful property in an amazing location. Lovely settings for aperitivo and breakfast. Our room was not in the main building which could have been mentioned on the booking sites. Breakfast was excellent. We had the evening meal and because it was a Friday - it was the fish menu. It was a little disappointing. We had an excellent wine tasting across the road with a very knowledgeable and generous host - I'd really recommend the red wines."

"A special place of stunnig beauty. The staff is welcoming, especially OANA, from the reception, Who immediately addressed an air conditioning issue. When she couldn't fix it, she moved us to an upgrade room. This made our stay much more pleasent, especially because of the way she treated us. We also like Yadilka, the pool attendant for her friendliness and kindness."

"Lovely, kind staff, felt very welcome upon check in. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, the staff kept food selections refreshed, coffee hot & ready, they welcomed guests with a cheery greeting each morning. Ate dinner at hotel restaurant twice, both meals superb, wine selections were lovely, our waiter was attentive, fun, loved his recommendations. The grounds & buildings were clean, beautiful. We toured the wine cellar, gardens, historic areas. Parking easy, well marked signage. Our group kept remarking “what a great place to stay”, so happy since I picked it! Our rooms were very clean, well appointed. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful hotel set in bucolic hill top location with spectacular views. The staff were welcoming , friendly and efficient. You can judge hotel service by the speed issues are addressed. We had a few minor issues : a safe without a key, a leak from the air conditioning unit , dud batteries in the telly remote and needed an extra pillow . Within minutes ,new safe ,new batteries ,extra pillow and air conditioning unit serviced immediately. Beautiful dining room with panoramic vistas including spectacular sunsets over the mountains. Dinner and service were excellent and breakfast extremely good. Coffee dispensed from machine was ok , not the best. Machines seem ubiquitous these days."

"Villa Anna is een perfekte vakantiewoning. De woning is centraal gelegen ten opzichte van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Umbrië. De woning is ruim en modern, perfekt schoon en comfortabel. Ondanks de moordende hitte hebben we hier heerlijk geslapen, dankzij de uitstekende airconditioning en bedden. Tot onze verrassing was er behalve een vaatwasser ook een wasmachine aanwezig. Het enige minpuntje is de steile grindweg vlak voor het huis, die voor een auto met alleen een voorwielaandrijving moelijk te nemen is. 200 meter voor het huis is echter voldoende parkeergelegenheid, en wij hebben de auto meestal daar laten staan."

Franca was always available, and prepared 2 meals for us that were magnificent! Celebrated a 12th birthday dinner complete with Profiterole cake and decorations! Good value, quiet, & gorgeous views. "Stefano was an exceptional host—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The villa exceeded all of our expectations. Every bedroom had its own private bathroom, which made it perfect for our group, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, from making our morning coffee to preparing dinners together.The dining spaces were wonderful, with both a spacious indoor dining area and a beautiful veranda where everyone could gather and enjoy meals. Having two pools was an amazing bonus! We spent most of our time at the outdoor pool, which had plenty of comfortable lounge chairs, whether you wanted to soak up the sun or relax in the shade.Everything about our stay was thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. We had a truly wonderful experience and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.Thank you Stefano!"
