"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly I enjoyed using the swimming pool and gym. Breakfast buffet was very good and the premium lounge was an added bonus. Overall I enjoyed my time at Hotel Barcelo and I will definitely return the next time I visit San Jose. - Thanks"

"We had such an amazing experience at Posada el Quijote. Prior to arrival, Fernando helped us secure a great deal on a car rental with a company that was conveniently able to do pickup/drop-off at the hotel for no extra charge. The property is a beautiful old private home that has been converted to a boutique hotel with tons of character. Our room was very quiet, daily freshly prepared breakfast was delightful, the pool was lovely, and all staff were fantastic. Fernando was super helpful in assisting us find alternative accommodations when we unexpectedly needed to extend our stay in San Jose as Quijote was fully booked. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to San Jose!"

"Great places near everywhere "

"We stayed 2 nights, and for the most part it was good. The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Family Studio Suite, which was very nice, but required going down 75 steps (yes, I counted...), which was hard since I have problems with my knees. The only other down side was that the hot water was sporatic, which I sort of expected after reading other reviews. There WAS hot water to shower several different times, but several other times there was not. I don't know what the issue was. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and the view was amazing."

"We loved everything about our stay! Casa Britto is a uniquely exquisite home and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Christina and the other staff took incredible care of us, the house, property, meals... we are so impressed and grateful for the experience. "

"Was a very cute condo with a cool building design and lots of little things throughout that made it 1 of a kind. The unit wasn’t very clean upon arrival and checking in with a vehicle proved to be quite a task. If you’re going to have a vehicle, make sure you address this ahead of time. We were told we could pay cash for a parking space but that was not the case, had to go back and forth with the host and the property while sitting outside the front gate for quite some time. "
