The property consists of three separate guest buildings apart from the main Wuksachi Lodge, where dining and amenities are located. It's a short, easy walk from the guest buildings to the main lodge. A few things to be aware of before booking: the Sequoia building has no elevator, and there is no air conditioning. Cooling relies on a ceiling fan and a box fan seemingly used in the window openings. The interiors feel noticeably dated, and the bathrooms carry a faint mildew smell. Overall, the rooms themselves could use a serious freshening up. That said, it was an overall pleasant stay, just don't expect anything beyond the basics when it comes to the accommodations themselves. For food, there's pizza available during lunch hours and a full-service restaurant for dinner. There's also a convenient on-site convenience store stocked with souvenirs and quick snacks. Note that it appears to be cashless only. Takeaway - You're paying for the unbeatable location, not the rooms. If you can set expectations accordingly, Wuksachi Lodge delivers a memorable national park experience. Just know the accommodations are functional rather than impressive."
