"Hamtramck Hostel despite the lower stars was a pretty good experience. It was a little further from downtown than I wanted it to be so you had to drive a bit to see the city. The surrounding area was much like the rest of Detroit; eclectic in some places, and rundown in others. I feel the vibe was good at the Hostel itself. There were some very kind hearted people. I liked some of the conversations we had. I enjoyed the idea of the shared space. I liked having access to the kitchen and laundry...

A short walk to several pubs, breweries, and outstanding food places.The actual room even better than advertised.Very clean, easy access, loaded with anything and everything you would want for a weekend stay. I will be staying here again. "

"Units are very well designed and tastefully furnished.Best breakfast at Mollys Cafe, right on the corner. Great location for whatever you’re looking for. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend is more water pressure in the shower 😁"
