Everyone was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The facility was clean, but do know they were making some repairs. Kitchen had what you needed. I could have used a fuller pillow, but that was no biggie. Close to a grocery store, pharmacy, Ulta (which was so helpful!), and some eateries. Close to the Metro, which was great! Not as close to downtown as I would have liked, but it wasn't too far either. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Overall was a good stay for the price point and location. Room was superficially cleaned and small but comfortable. It felt like the bedroom and bathroom could have used a deeper clean. Check in and check out instructions were clear, host was helpful and communicated promptly, and the location was super convenient and nice!

The staff was very helpful upon arrival and were there to assist as needed. The dormitory was clean and well maintained, with staff coming in daily to refresh linens and do laundry. I had a chance to chat with the manager of the hostile and he was very friendly and approachable. I was impressed with how respectful the other guests in the dorm were and would go back to STAY if I'm ever back in the area.

Best Hostel in Chicago

The accommodations and service was wonderful. The staff was amazingly friendly the facilities were very clean and the working space was great! While in Chicago I will surely stay here again.

Great location and affordable. However the place was dirty, some bed sheets were dirty. The shower wasn't draining but 'luckily' there isn't much water pressure so we didn't flood the place. When I told them they said they checked it and it was fine but that wasn't true, issue was the same the next day. The microwave was broken too. Note the staircase is very steep and narrow, so you need to be able to carry your luggage.
