"I would not recommend staying at Vagabond Hotel, it should honestly be called a motel. We were never informed that the property was undergoing major construction, which felt extremely misleading. Aside from the construction crew, we were the only guests on-site, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The room itself was very disappointing—stained sheets, a roach in the bathroom, and overall lackluster conditions. To make matters worse, the staff was dismissive and refused to issue a refund despite failing to disclose the construction. This experience was unacceptable. If major renovations are happening, the hotel should close until it’s complete. Shame on you, Vagabond."

"The hallway had a gapped hole on it, jacuzzi has missing tiles. Overall it's a semi high end hotel prices, with 2 star hotel amenities."

"The staff was really nice and helpful with my question over the phone about checking in late. I also found the room really comfortable and clean. The whole hotel is really a vibe because it’s clean and luxurious but also is in a historic building. It was a good location as well around different parts of downtown and walkable. I really enjoyed the brunch, and also the complementary water bottles and coffee ! The staff at the front desk were super friendly too and made me feel welcome ! Literally one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at."

"Almost everything in my room was broken. My door to my room wouldn’t shut and lock, unless from the outside pulling hard in the handle. The tv remote only controls the tv guide, no way to adjust the volume or turn off the tv. The sliding door for the shower doesn’t work, I was struggling to open and close it in the shower. Also the front desk lady just felt very miserable and didn’t want to be there (honestly don’t blame her) all in all it was ok for the 80$ but wouldn’t stay again "

"Super cool and quirky place to stay while in Sacramento. It’s close to the stadium where we went to see an A’s game. Close to Old Town and plenty of food choices. Rooms are small but the charm of the boat makes up for that. Sea lions sing their song loud and proud so we used our ear plugs (they’re provided). We will be back!!"

"Comfortable, clean room. Great breakfast with many choices and attentive and friendly hostess. On-time shuttle with friendly and polite driver. Very close and convenient to airport."
