"We knew we would be getting an older property and just needed a bed for the night. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The room was very worn out, however, including a creaky and soft-feeling thick-carpeted covered floor. We were surprised, frankly, that the room came with a continental breakfast. The breakfast offerings were minimal ... some fruit and packaged pastries. It was an adequate stopover, but if you're coming into town early, no reason to get to your hotel early."

"I was disappointed in my stay. I booked the standard room, the least expensive. And looking at the photo again I can see it is the room I received but you cannot tell from the picture how disgusting the carpet is, or the curtains. The a/c wasn't working well. Pay the extra few dollars to get the deluxe which looks to be the same room, just remodeled."

"Initial impression was not great. Well worn exterior. No office to speak of. Owners send a nice welcome note and give you a door code for your room. No contact with a real person. They nailed a clean bed, clean towels and hot water. Nice job and that is what is most important to us. Fairly fresh paint. There is only so much you can do to an old motel. Brown shag carpet. Hole kicked in wall. Mold/dirt around air duct. Missing chain on door lock. Etc. Strong pros and cons."

"Parking was secure. The room was nice but I have a closet that is larger. The chickens were funny. "
