For an older hotel...It was very clean and well taken care of. Our friends had a small dog, so it was nice that they are dog friendly. I loved the casino and gift shop.

We've stayed at the Prospector at least a dozen times! We travel with our dog, and we love how pet friendly they are. It's also great they have a restaurant on site. We're tired after driving all day, and it's nice we can get food right there. The rooms are spacious, check-in is easy, and we highly recommend staying there.

If you’re traveling with a dog, you have to stop at the Prospector in Ely. It’s the dog friendliest place. We’ve ever stayed. The staff were wonderful. The places are very clean recommended highly
