"We enjoyed our stay at the Palliser Fairmont Hotel, a lovely former CP Hotel in downtown Calgary. Very well appointed rooms, with adequate in room amenities. It is easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. On the down side, valet parking is recommended and is very expensive. There is no casual coffee shop in the hotel, only an eating/drinking bar or main dining room and not convenient for early departing quests. There is a coffee machine in the room, but ours didn’t work. There were noisy quests in the room next door and we could every word, very irritating."

"It is a bit of an unusual lobby located on the second floor and not at the entrance. Elevators are quite slow so it does take some time if it is busy and staying on a high floor. Breakfast is excellent. Fresh and good choices. Fitness centre only has cardio machines and free weights but was fine. Rooms were good but the shower could have had more pressure. Overall a good stay and location is great."

"My husband and I only stayed for.one night but the room we rented which was a King suite, with sofa bed and river view, and it was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and most importantly, the King bed was super comfortable! "
