"Initially confused to see 2 hotel names on the building - Candlewood Suites and Holiday Inn Express. It appears this is a dual-brand hotel property, with shared amenities. The reception desk can assist guests for either hotel booking. Fantastic hotel with super friendly staff. Clean rooms, with full kitchens which is convenient for longer stays. There is even a laundry basket in the closet if you need to do laundry downstairs. Lots of storage in the room. Bathroom products are all Dove, which is lovely. Ample outdoors parking and well lit. The hotel is in an industrial area so it is safe and quiet. Close to Costco (5 min drive) if you need to stock up on anything. The hotel is a VIP Access hotel, and provides free breakfast to those booking through Expedia. A decent selection with eggs, sausage, beans, potatoes, cereal and oatmeal. There's even a pancake machine that is made to order. Very satisfying for a complimentary breakfast. Overall a wonderful stay at Candlewood, and would definitely return the next time I'm in Kingston."

"The room was very nice and spacious. The hotel was clean and despite there being a lot of guests it was very quiet. Breakfast was passable. It was not above average. The location of the hotel meant that you had to drive everywhere. Nothing was in walking distance. Regardless, the parking was free, the staff was friendly and we had a very nice time."

"Our group had an absolutely amazing time staying at Tony’s property! Such a beautiful place in an incredible area, and honestly, a great spot to get away, relax, and spend some quality time with friends and family.The property itself was fantastic! Everything was very clean, well maintained, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. You can tell a lot of care goes into keeping the place in great condition, which made our stay that much more enjoyable.A huge shoutout to Tony as well! His communication was excellent throughout the entire process. He was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy for our group, which we really appreciated.The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi connection. It wasn’t the strongest, so we weren’t able to stream anything on the TV. Definitely something that could be improved, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience!Aside from that, we genuinely had a wonderful stay and made some great memories together. Beautiful property, amazing surroundings, and a fantastic host!Thank you again, Tony, for having us! We’d happily recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and would definitely consider coming back in the future!"

"A lovely rustic cottage with beautiful surroundings on the lake. Loved the porch looking out to the lake, and use of kayaks, the firepit and electric fireplace. Kitchen had everything and beds were comfortable. It’s close to provincial parks and KP Trail"
