"This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended. "

"Ideal place to stay when if you’re travelling to St Moritz or exploring Italian countryside. My room was with a beautiful view and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast with plenty of food choices. The room was clean. There are restaurants around the hotel. I will book this hotel again. "

"Wow! This was our first time travelling to Tirano. We didn’t know what to expect. The property manager (Mara) contacted us to find out what time we would check-in. She gave us excellent directions to get to the building from the train station. We were warmly welcomed at check-in and were quickly on our way to our suite. Mara made some recommendations about where to eat as it was close to dinner time when we arrived. We were impressed by the size of our suite which was well equipped and exceptionally clean. We were happy to see that the suite contained a washing machine and we were able to do a small loaf of laundry before we went out for dinner. We took Mara up on her suggestion to go to Liberty restaurant and we had the best meal of our entire vacation. We returned to the suite which was comfortably air conditioned and we slept well. We went to the rooftop breakfast. After such a positive experience we were sorry that we had only planned to stay the one night. We would highly recommend Bernina Suites."

"There is a wing of rooms directly over the front desk and the night I was there the computer system there was backing up or something and was making enough noise that it woke me up in the middle of the night. The front desk isn’t staffed at night, so I just had to try to go back to sleep. But I woke up with a headache, which is quite unusual for me. If I was given a room on the first floor above the front desk again, I would ask to be moved."
