"This was one of the best places we stayed. We hiked the Tuscany portion of the Via Francegena and this stop was the best. The hotel is uniquely refurbished to include the 1,000 year old structures. It was an absolute delight. Blanca, was particularity helpful and accommodating. This is the best place to stay"

My wife and stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary for 5 nights and had a rental car to visit surrounding towns like San Gimignano and Sienna. It is located about 25 minutes from both towns and has on site parking.
Postives : beautiful maintained site, pool, grounds in the quiet country. Staff are very accommodating. Dining area next to pool is amazing. Breakfast buffet is the best we had during our two trips to Italy. Rooms were cleaned daily. Reception staff are friendly and helpful....

Apart from the musty smell in the elevator area this was a cute hotel. Like most hotels in Europe the room wasn't overly spacious but it was clean. It is located right on the Main Street of San Gimignano but we heard no noise from any of the festivals or thousands of tourists. Breakfast was sufficient.

First built in 1267, if only the high walls in this historical refurbished boutique hotel could talk. Large rooms and common areas delightfully restored to their former glory, this is an ideal place to venture out and explore all that Tuscany has to offer. We were off season so it was more like a B & B for us with the Ninci family caring for our every need.

The setting is absolutely gorgeous! The rustic villas, beautiful gardens and luxurious swimming pools make for an idyllic stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring many of the beautiful surrounding Tuscan towns.

Stayed 5 nights and did day trips to locations around the area. Lovely resort with excellent atmosphere for a quite get away. You need transport to get around and nearest eateries are a km or two away (some have odd opening hours and days). Lots of winery's and country drives. The restaurant and breakfasts were very good, and hotel has a sister restaurant at nearby castle.

The reception staff were so unbelievably helpful!
Supported a late checkout so our baby could nap- helped arrange transport last minute. Just brilliant!
Rooms are clean, spacious and air con was vital. All you need for a stay but the staff are what made it.
