"We had a lovely stay in this property in early March. Fantastic central location (as long as you can do steps) and lovely view. Very clean and well presented. Warm and cosy for 2 and ideal for a weekend break. "

"Kitchen - no kitchen roll; kettle too small; no kitchen/anti-bacterial spray; lighting poor (gloomy) with no discernible switch for the under unit lights; dishwasher difficult to operate (no instructions); limited selection of pans. Parking - confusing instructions - should say can park outside just for loading/unloading and then park in car-park nearby. TV (in main living area) - instructions for watching "normal" TV did not work - no option "You View" available to select. Shower room - nowhere to put toiletries in shower, nowhere to put toiletries generally apart from the windowsill. Electric radiators - no instructions, one in main living area did not work. Main bedroom - poor lighting (only one bedside light), only one bedside cabinet. Local contact - no mobile signal in cottage so unable to contact."

"Not sure where to start this review because there are so many positives to go through. Arrangements with Nicky the owner went smoothly with lots of pre-arrival detail from essential “how-to-get-there” instructions (including helpful front door photograph) through to places to see and recommendations to eat and drink - and there are threefour excellent, welcoming pubs within easy walking distance. The property itself is clean, thoughtfully kitted out and has been beautifully restored into a spacious, comfortable beach side home with some of the best sea views in Cornwall - and we feel qualified to judge having seen many of those over the years of visits to this beautiful county. Take time to wander the streets of the pretty village of Kingsand and close neighbour Cawsand with easy access to interesting beach and spectacular coastal walks. I suspect your only disapppintment with Rock House will be when you find someone’s beaten you to the dates you want!"

"Thoroughly enjoyable stay. We were upgraded on arrival to stay in our own holiday cottage attached to the guesthouse. It was very clean and comfortable with all usual conveniences. Beautiful new bathroom with new walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Cosy lounge with open fire and bespoke fitted kitchen. Our welcoming host Sarah still provided us with an ample and sumptuous tasty breakfast each day. Our little dog was also made very welcome by Sarah and her own 2 dogs. The cottage was just a few yards from the beach and excellent local pubs. All in all we can’t recommend Westcroft Guesthouse highly enough. We will definitely be returning there soon."
