8/10 Good
"Beautiful location, right on the water. Having a marina view was well worth the extra money! The rooms are older, but didn’t detract from the overall stay. Great location, easy to go into Berkeley proper or hop on the freeway to San Francisco. Huge bonus that they take dogs!"

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

10/10 Excellent
"I love the aesthetic of the place. Vintage and yes there is no AC but it was not a big deal. They have tower fans and ceiling fan. I definitely will be staying there again it’s very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. It was my first time in the city and they were nice and they showed me where to park. Parking was $45 per night which seems high but it’s valet. They do give you a discount thought the hotel but I love how you order your car and they have it ready. They don’t have breakfast but they do have delicious cookies and coffee. I am very impressed about the price as well."
