"Beautiful location hidden on a hilltop in rural Tuscany. Spacious rooms on two floors that easily accommodated our three generation party of nine! Our hostess, Marilia, prepared an unforgettable, delicious three course meal on our first night at her villa. We were introduced to the wine cellar for our first course, and Marilia shared the history of the villa. She served us Lasagne and Tiramisu that was equal to or better than anything we had during our nine days touring Tuscany from her Villa. She was most helpful in selecting wine tours and restaurants and sights to see. She even helped our Son-in-law arrange for a charter ocean fishing trip.We all loved spending time in the pool to cool off during hot afternoons.The views from the villa in every direction were unforgettable!Highly recommended and we felt like Marilia was part of our family!!!Smiths, Tanners, Dawsons"

"We had a truly wonderful holiday at Marilia’s lovely little house with a pool, set amidst nature. It offered a beautiful view, a stunning garden, a good-sized pool, and a house equipped with everything one might need. Everything was neat and clean, and communication with Marilia went smoothly. It was the perfect place to simply enjoy some peace and quiet and unwind. It is also ideal for children. I highly recommend it. Many thanks for everything."

"Gambassi Terme was an incredible home with amazing views of the nearby vineyard. The rooms were chic with plenty of space for our large family. The outdoor spaces were elevated and relaxing and plenty of toys for the kids to play at the pool. And the wine from the vineyard was delicious. "This is a working winery and while the apartments are somewhat rustic and without air conditioning they provided much of the charm and experience that we were looking for during our stay in Tuscany. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the wines produced by the winery. Natalia and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the buffet dinner that was available on our first night that included delicious food and wines. We also took advantage of the daily breakfast since the location is somewhat remote. Alternatively, one could easily prepare their own breakfast in the apartment kitchen but we opted for the convenience. Although remote the property is conveniently located in the countryside about midway between Florence and Siena which were the two cities we planned to visit during our stay. There is a pool on the property and we did also enjoy a stroll into the vineyards one evening to watch the sunset. The reason for the lower rating with facilities is primarily around some plumbing inconvenience which was not confined to just our unit but was being appropriately addressed by the property and we did not experience any issues on our last couple of days. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would stay there again if I return to Tuscany."
