"This was a very late booking and we unfortunately got the last available room, room 16, which is directly above the pub and right outside the Granary. We could sing along to all the songs that were playing and hear the foul conversations people were having outside until the pub closed at (around) midnight. The room itself is very outdated and in poor condition. The carpets have marks, the beds are not the most comfortable, the paint is peeling off in many places in the bathroom and the flushing...

! Assume most were local. Patio looks down on large fields. Before sunset people walking, playing futbol. Room was unique, worried wife would not like it. But she loved it. Spacious, old, stairs appear challenging but not a problem. Did get help moving our too heavy bags. 20 minute drive to Bath and there is a bus if you don’t want to drive. "
