"We had a great stay of several days at this very cool boutique hotel. The room was so very comfortable and cool and you can tell it was well constructed and is well maintained. Our real only issue? No one explained there is no actual hotel lobby on the ground floor. We wandered , with heavy luggage around and around…finally seeing a small sign on a door way between 2 burgers spots. The elevator…not free and small was “quaint” but also just oddly annoying when tired after a long day of sightseeing. Again, for us, these would be inconsequential if known in advance as we loved the staff, had a great morning breakfast and the staff was so very kind and considerate. We would definitely stay here again, its central location was really perfect and convenient!"

"The location of the Excelsior is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples. If you have the port side rooms you wake up to Vesuvius across the Bay and can watch its many moods throughout the day. On the roof top terrace you can watch the lights turn on in the city and see Vesuvius become a presence that is hard to ignore. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and we needed it after 12 days of negotiating the cobblestone streets of the Amalfi Coast, averaging 6 miles a day, and we're senior citizens! This hotel holds a special place in my heart. The breakfast alone is worth staying here! The staff was super nice. The hotel is a piece of old Italian luxury and has to be experienced."

"The Starhotel Terminus is conveniently located right outside the Napoli Centrale train station. We had an early train to catch so it made travel extremely easy. Don't let the outside fool you inside the decor is beautiful. They provided luggage storage before check in which allowed us the opportunity to explore the area freely. There are a variety of restaurants located on the same block as the hotel. The rooms were clean, very spacious and quite cozy. The Odeon restaurant was very nice and the dinner was even better. We both enjoyed the branzino, mixed vegetables and kale. During our overnight stay, the staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a warm smile and was very helpful whenever we had questions. A very special thank you to Salim who was a member of the hotel concierge team. Salim was very friendly and attentive and very willing to make our stay enjoyable. I recommend highly and would absolutely stay again if back in Napoli.💜💜💜"

"We got stuck in Naples for 2 extra nights before our flight home. Thankfully we were staying at the Hotel San Francesco Al Monte. Beautiful views out our window. Watch the ships come in to port and leave at night. The 4th floor restaurant and rooftop make staying here worth every penny. The piano player at night was the cherry on the top! This hotel made our 3 nights in Naples wonderful!"
