As a single man I found it a bit odd and I could imagine as a woman I would have felt unsafe. The area is the middle of nowhere - no appeal except not being far from other places of interest. "We loved everything about this property, especially the staff who on more than one occasion went out of their way for us. The property is beautiful as there is a large courtyard with a pool. Our room was very very nice and faced the pool. Free breakfast is outstanding! Book it, you won't regret. Need a driver? The hotel will call a wonderful driver who can take you anywhere you need to go in Catania for very affordable prices. "
