"Good family room for an overnight stay, with a queen bed & 1 single, an ensuite & a tv. Plenty of towels and parking. Was a 7-10 mins walk to a local pizzeria for supper. Left early for our Pisa flight & was just 10 mins drive away, so very convenient."

"We were looking for a good base whilst at Pisa - this B&B was ideally positioned and clean - the local restaurant for breakfast was only a couple minute walk away - would recommend and use again"

"This place is a bit further out from Pisa, but we still had a really nice stay and made the most of it. It’s great value for money, which was a big plus.
The hotel itself is a little old-fashioned, but honestly, the staff more than made up for it—they were super friendly and welcoming the whole time. The restaurant was also a highlight, with really tasty food that we enjoyed a lot.
It’s a good spot if you’ve got a car and want to explore the nearby villages and surrounding area."

"I really enjoyed Velle Storiche Pisa - fairly simple room, but spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fantastic location in a nice residential district, very close to a railway station and the Campo dei Miracoli. After-hours check in process sounded a little complicated but worked perfectly. The included breakfast was good by Italian standards. Only drawback was that the air conditioning was limited to 18 degrees, which is too hot. Best thing was the enthusiastic and welcoming staff."

"Lucca is very responsive , the communication is very smooth. The place is at very good location, just few minute walking distance to the leaning tower. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Great accommodation with lots of little ’ extras’ Hosts are friendly and clearly experienced making you feel like a friend staying over rather than a paying guest, it honestly felt like nothing would be too much trouble for them they were super accomodating and helpful ( thank you) great recommendations for restaurants.

An amazing little gem in an unexpected location. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and the breakfast spread was excellent. The bonus of the beautiful gardens for breakfast was special. A very eclectic place full of unusual and quirky pieces.
Unless it is only an overnighter for the airport, a car is required and we found we had difficulties finding decent places to eat in the area unless you like pizza but that is not a criticism of this place.

Loved this place and the friendliness of the staff. The staff obviously love their job and love their city. We also loved the city and the accommodation was beautifully done. Little touches of love in every corner.

I would definitely stay again. It was easy to get a bus from the station to the hotel. There were plenty of restaurant choices around for dinner and breakfast was great. It was also in a fabulous location to take ourselves off for our own walking tour with the map they gave us. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

Room was very comfortable but starting to need a refresh. The bathroom was larg, but the shower was over a very deep bath, which made access and exiting a little difficult, as we are both in our late 70's.
Location was excellent, a 1 minute walk from the bus station near the Porta Sant Anna at the western side of Lucca.
Staff were excellent. Polite, friendly and helpful.
