"The property is very clean and the staff is very professional and friendly, hotel is a walking distance to many restaurants and the Cathedral is couple of blocks, it's very safe to walk to El Mercado San Juan De Dios,l. 100 percent recommended."
"Very satisfied with that hotel. The hotel is a good area zona centro very accessible to move a lot to tourist attractions. Clean and good costumer service "
"Great location, next to Chapultepec Ave, where there is plenty to do. Only drawback on being close to cool places is noise, especially at night. But other than that, great hotel and location. Would definitely stay here again!"
"An excellent budget hotel in centro historico district of Guadalara. Main plazas, shopping, dining etc within easy walking distance.
Hotel sits directly across the street from Plaza Dos Templos.
Staff was fantastic; polite, friendly, extra-mile always with a smile.
Recommend you get a suite; they face the street and you will have a small balcony, plus natural light. The standard rooms do not have an exterior facing window, the windows face internally so the rooms are dark, but the bathrooms are nice. The bathrooms in a suite are outstanding.
Restaurant has good food but breakfast only. The is a small rooftop terrace that is nice, but no service there; byob. The rooftop pool seemed nice but we did not use it.
Overall a nice hotel with great staff; we would definitely stay again."
"It's a beautiful property, well maintained, tastefully decorated and a very relaxing ambiance. It's a very quiet location with several patios. Our room was a gorgeous marble room with tile floor, very high ceilings & black out curtains.
There is an interesting history behind Palpatio so it's not your typical hotel, but more like an open style colonial mansion. The caveat is that there are no elevators, but it shouldn't pose an issue for most guests because it's only a three-story building & staff will help carrying luggage up.
Palpatio Hotel can hook you up with trustworthy drivers from the airport to the hotel & also rides from hotel to anywhere in town. We arrived at the airport at 11:39 pm & had our safe ride to the hotel. There was great communication with hotel staff both before check-in & during our stay.
There's a restaurant on-site that serves amazing breakfast for a reasonable price, but you can also walk to Guadalajara's historic Centro.
You won't regret staying at the Palpatio Hotel.
