Fabulous B & B
Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged for my husband to visit an hour later, and offering their wifi connection and a room to use for a Teams meeting when work sadly followed us away (not needed, the guest wifi was fine). The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, especially the bed. Breakfasts are superb, perfectly cooked, loads of choice and excellent coffee. Lots of great chat and stories with George as he served breakfast. You really felt as if nothing was too much trouble. We were lucky with the weather, and the garden is a fantastic place to sit. We only realised after booking that Glangwili Mansion has won several tourism awards, and I am not surprised. We could not recommend it highly enough.

First Class all round.
Absolutely spot on! A superb stay with modern and spotless facilities. Breakfast was first class and my gluten free option catered for without fuss. Hosts Linda and George made us feel very welcome and had all necessary precautions in place upon opening after the Covid19 lockdown.

Wonderful B&B in a lovely part of Wales. The hosts and their adorable puppy were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We will return I’m sure.

The hotel was beautiful. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Probably need a car to get about easily from there as not sure how good rural public transport is.

Beautiful quiet location and the owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very large room and very comfortable chair in the bedroom. On the minus side the nearest eating places are a short drive away. Nice small lake next door.

Best place to stay in Carmarthen Wales!
Linda and George are amazing hosts. They make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. Our room was lovely, overlooking their beautiful garden. The breakfast, freshly prepared, is a gourmet treat! Their recommendations for places to see and where to dine helped us make the most of our 3 days. We hope to be back!

Fantastic 5 Star B&B in very different Location. Get away from it all in absolute Luxury, awesome views . The rooms are Hugh and Luxurious with complementing En-Suites not matched in top London Hotels. The best cooked Breakfast by Linda top class. Well done to George & Linda the Owners,so Professional and Friendly Couple.

Our hosts were most welcoming and our room was a fabulous place to relax. The bed was super comfortable and the bath was extra deep. Breakfast was gorgeous and the location is so peaceful. Wish we'd had more time there but this visit was just a one night stop-over - have to look at correcting that in the future!

Stayed for 4 nights and wished it could have been more, Linda and George were perfect hosts and catered for our every need, the rooms are fabulous as was the dining area and the breakfast delightful as well. If in the area again i would not hesitate to book again, a lovely couple a beutiful place and the rooms of superb standard, couldn't fault it at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best hotel I have ever found
Having travelled widely for several years and staying at hundreds of hotels, this is the place I always imagined must exist somewhere. The location, service and facilities can not be bettered, book with confidence you will not regret it.

For a restful stay...
Spent a night there a little while ago. Great hosts, who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk into the property. The room was very large; so was the bathroom. Otherwise, the surroundings are quaint and cozy. Perfect place to relax and take advantage of a restful stay. Breakfast was very good in a very comfortable dining lounge. Could have spent more time there. The only thing was the dust on the bed frame, which I had difficulty with. Looks like this may not be done regularly although the room was, in and of itself, nicely laid out and tidy.

Awesime place!
This is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. It is about seven miles from Carmerthen, where you can enjoy peacefulness as well as a modern beautiful place to stay! George was an awesome host! For breakfast we enjoyed our eggs from chickens he raised himself while relaxing to Lionel Richie in the background! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Wonderful Stay
We had a fantastic one night stay here. We were warmly greeted by Linda and shown to our beautiful ground floor room. The room was huge with a kingsize bed and sofa bed, a large bathroom with shower and an outside patio area. The wifi worked OK in the room but better in the communal lounge area. Breakfast the following morning was lovely - a great selection of cold items (fruits, cereals, yoghurts etc) and Linda was happy to make a full cooked breakfast as well.

My husband and I recently got married and wanted to go somewhere on a 'minimoon'. Luckily, the CHARTREUSE room was a room available at Glangwili Mansion. With such great ratings, it was a no brainer. From the moment we turned onto the gorgeous drive in to the mansion we were impressed. The driveway takes you through the beautiful garden area right up to the impressive building. The area is so lovely and peaceful and the backdrop of the mansion is jaw droppingly fairytale-esque. The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel totally at ease. As we hadn't had much time to research, they were very helpful with planning our days. They recommended places to visit/walks/places to eat and these tips made our trip as special as it was. The room was gorgeous. It felt luxurious, was spotless and felt like it was brand new. And what we loved most of all about this room was the amazing 2 person bath!

The Glangwili is located in rural and very quiet surroundings. The mountains and calm green vegetation give guests a real welsh experience. George and Linda were very welcoming and everyone should appreciate George's Scottish sense of humour. Anything you need to know about the region, George has the information. Breakfast had everything you need--cereals, fruits, juices, eggs, salmon. The room was extraordinarily clean and quiet. Be aware that in order to get here, you will be driving on a single lane road for a good mile or so--but well worth the drive. It was our first visit to Wales and just made a guess that this would be a good central place to experience Wales and we certainly made the best choice. Without question, we can't wait to return to Wales and stay at the Glangwili.
