Great location with the beach a very short walk away. Comfortable beds, all necessary amenities provided, easy parking. Property is clean and quiet. Easy communication with Haustay.
Our two bedroom one bath bungalow was well appointed and spotless. The owner lives on site and, with the Property Manager, ensures all is well with the guests. The beach is 1/2 block away. We are very likely to return here!

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay on the beach. Electric charging for my car was a bonus! The house is small yet cozy, perfectly reflected in the pictures, and is cute with original details. I would recommend and stay again.
When I look at listings I rely on reviews so when I booked this condo I was very hesitant when there was only one review at the time.. I took my chances anyways and booked. Let’s just say I’m glad I did.
The location is great if you’re looking for beach access. As you can literally reach Tamarack Beach in 3 minutes walking time. Carlsbad village is less than mile up the road.
The condo was clean when we arrived, though some areas cold use some touch up paint as flat paint can be difficult to clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed.
Communication with the property management team was great and they were quick to respond to any questions or needs we had throughout the booking process and during our stay.
The garage had all the beach gear we needed for our stay including bodyboards for our teenage son and beach chairs.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be a more comfortable couch. The current one is nice but hard to get comfortable on. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
This is a really great spot. This property is extremely clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our 4 day stay.
This property is poorly maintained, dirty, rodent-infested, and noisy. The property managers communicated with me only when it was in their interest; I couldn't even get in because they provided an incorrect access code (fortunately the owner of this property lives on site and she is very nice – she came over when she saw me, my wife, and my daughter standing outside with our luggage). We stayed one night with rodent droppings, other tenants' toiletries, and crumbs on the sink and floor, and left the next morning. I texted the property manager to inform them and I two weeks later I have not received a reply. This is a beautiful part of Southern California, and I will be back next year – but I strongly recommend against renting this property. It was such a negative experience that I am considering giving up on VRBO altogether.
