Hot tub was a lovely temperature, and luckily we had 2 decent clear evenings to star gaze from hot tub. Rooms nice and clean, starlink wifi was great.

Lovely property on a working farm. Had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Very peaceful with fantastic views. Hot tub was excellent. A minor issue with the shower that was quickly resolved by the owner.

Excellent, tranquil spot for a few days R&R

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Drake’s Rest. The property is well-equipped and delightfully furnished and decorated. We met the on-site host a couple of times, who was very helpful and friendly without being “omni-present” at all. The situation, in the Borderlands area, is idyllic. Close to the Lakes and Hadrian’s Wall country, but delightfully quiet. Ideal for running, walking, cycling - or just enjoy the rural environment. Would definitely return..!
